12 Butera’s Chicken Meatballs
½ cup ricotta
½ cup diced fresh mozzarella
16 oz. store bought or homemade marinara sauce
2 tbsp. grated Romano cheese
2 tbsp. chopped Italian parsley
¼ cup chopped fresh basil (chopped), 2 whole leaves reserved for garnish
• Preheat oven to 350F.
• Place meatballs in oven-safe pot or baking dish. Cover with marinara sauce. Add dollops of ricotta cheese then add mozzarella cheese, Romano cheese, parsley, and basil.
•Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned. Garnish with fresh basil. Serve hot.
