Meatball Sliders

12 chicken meatballs
2 cups store bought or homemade marinara sauce
8 oz shredded fresh mozzarella
12 slider rolls or soft Hawaiian buns
12 leaves fresh basil
12 long toothpicks or wooden skewers


• Preheat oven to 350 F.

• Place meatballs in small baking dish. Spoon some sauce over the meatballs then top them with mozzarella. Transfer to the oven and bake until the cheese is bubbly.

• To assemble the sliders, place one meatball onto each bun. Top with a basil leaf and secure the top half with a bamboo skewer. Serve on a large platter with extra sauce on the side.
